Her birth name was Tibbets when she arrived in 1908, and she left with that name when she died in 2000.

I was just looking through my
"Films of Nancy Carroll" and
noticed that Frances Lee was in
"Chicken A la King". She and Nancy
played a couple of "high stepping
chorines". Although it is not a
short, it stars Ford Sterling and
from the plot it is obviously a
knockabout comedy.
